Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account information — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address. We do not receive your Google password.
• Content you provide — the resume(s), job descriptions, interview notes or recordings, and related details you add so the product can tailor, score, and learn from them.
• Usage data — basic, privacy-respecting logs (e.g. errors and feature usage) needed to operate and improve the service.

How we use it

We use your information solely to provide and improve Dondachi: to tailor your resume from what you’ve actually done, to score jobs honestly against your experience, to mine insights from interviews, and to build your private Career Memory. We process this only for your account.

Google user data

Dondachi’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use the name and email from Google sign-in only to create and secure your account, and we do not share that data with others or use it for advertising.

Service providers

We rely on a small set of processors to run Dondachi: hosting (Vercel), a managed database (Neon/Postgres), and AI providers (OpenAI and Anthropic) that process the content you submit in order to power tailoring, scoring, and insights. These AI providers act on our behalf via their APIs and do not use your content to train their models. We never sell your data.

Data retention & security

Your data is encrypted in transit and stored in our managed database. We keep it for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to export or delete your data at any time.

Your choices

You can access, correct, export, or delete your account and its data by emailing hello@dondachi.com. We’ll respond promptly.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We’ll revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, do our best to notify you.
